Nazneen was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1967. She obtained her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from Dhaka University and has participated in more than twenty group exhibitions in Bangladesh and Canada.

Nazneen likes to create art using a variety of subject matter including figurative design landscapes, memories of childhood, and rural and urban life. Her early works were inspired by her heritage, memories and storytelling. Nazneen has volunteered her artistic abilities with the Caribbean Festival and other diverse communities. She has delivered workshops on acrylic painting, and illustrating comics and children’s books.
